Our objectives are to:
*Instill discipline in our students through martial arts by teaching self control, etiquette and a strong sense of morals.
*Teach students how to avoid conflict with bullies by instilling self confidence and understanding why bullies feel a need to pick on other people.
*Help students to make healthy lifestyle choices through exercise and physical conditioning.
*Provide opportunities for students to compete in a sport where everyone gets to participate.
*Train students in self defense by teaching them how to defend against attacks and to use only the force necessary to avoid being victimized.
*Offer youth an opportunity to engage in constructive activities rather than being drawn into bad behavior on the streets.
We added the Top Dog Awards in 2015 to inspire our students to improve themselves. We saw such incredible results that we added two new categories for 2016; the horse stance and Academics. Not only have we seen the majority of our students becoming more physically fit, but we now have over 65% with a 3.0 or higher G.P.A. (the majority are over 3.5) Check out the "Top Dog Awards" page and see the results
